Plain language, no fine print. Here's how we handle your child's information.
What we collect (minimal)
For each child we collect a first name or nickname, a grade and a state. That's it. We don't ask for a child's email, last name, photo or birthday.
For the parent account we collect your name, email and payment details, which are handled by our payment provider.
The parent owns the account
A parent or guardian creates and owns every Studdyo account. Children use a profile inside that account, and switching between profiles is locked.
You can view your child's activity, change their details or delete their profile at any time.
How Studdyo stays on school topics
Studdyo is built around your child's grade level and state standards. If a conversation drifts away from schoolwork, it gently steers back to the topic at hand.
